PARISIAN LAUDURÉE baby shower.

If you know me well, then you know that my color palette in life is earthy neutrals or classic dark colors. So when I get a client who is WAY more fun than me in the color department, I low-key have a conversation with myself to boost my confidence because it makes me so nervous. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pastel combo or a bold artsy color pop but because I don’t wear it, I always wonder if I’m doing it right.

This client-turned-dear friend of mine - is an incredible person who can wear any color and make it classic, sophisticated, and perfect. No pressure right?! Thank God she is the sweetest human on earth to give me grace, but I have to say I was pretty impressed with myself on this one. Now, if you had asked me two years ago that I would be creating a timeless event with pastel pink and mint green, I would have told you that there was no way I could pull that off. Ever since I decided to let the world stop nagging me about branding all of my designs strictly to the color palette I naturally gravitate to, and simply allow myself to create classic and timeless events for the gracious people who invest in me and want me to be a part of their day - my world has changed, opportunities have open up, and I am having way more fun than I ever imagined. This event became everything I hoped for and per usual, showcased everything I love to do for my clients.

The theme was a Parisian Laudurée baby shower. We worked with lavender, pastel/ballet pink, mint green, and a creamy pastel yellow to fit the famous Parisian Laudurée inspiration and focused on textures being either the Eiffel Tower and metals consisting of silver with clear glass to - let’s be honest - channel in a little Coco Chanel vibe.

One of our favorite things that was a big hit and the perfect touch to this baby shower was the all-pink vintage bicycle with a woven basket filled with beautiful pastel-colored flowers, pink balloons, and perfectly placed gift boxes wrapped in a lavender satin ribbon to give off the Parisian vibe. All in all, it was a beautiful shower that truly showcased my clients’ creative personality and style.
